In an unlikely and downright unexpected move, David Gray is set to release his 2nd studio album in 11 months, and 9th overall, on August 17th. This release comes after the varied success of his September 2009 release 'Draw The Line.'

Music Flashback: Third Eye Blind - Blue

At GentDaily, we try to stay on the forefront of music releases, bringing you brand new music from our favorite bands. Sometimes, however, albums of old deserve another homage. So, starting today, we're going to bring you one old album per week that we think deserves another listen!

Following the huge success of their debut self-titled album, San Francisco's Third Eye Blind released 'Blue' in 1999. Although the album didn't have as much success as the first album, Blue still did very well and had a few great tracks.

The hit single, "I'll Never Let You Go" and "10 Days Late" followed the intoxicatingly catchy mold of the first album's "Semi-charmed Life," while more mellow tracks like "Slow Motion" showed the band's deeper side. Even the track "Wounded" seemed to pre-date bands like Angels & Airwaves by a decade. So, we've attached a few choice tracks from 'Blue' and hopefully they'll be pleasantly nostalgic, enjoy!

This is a relatively rare Bulova Snorkel Dive Watch from the 1960s . Similar to the Seikos (with the exception of the Anantas), Bulova used to be a formidable and quality watch maker that modernly chose quantity and volume over high-quality.

With that having been said, Bulova has never really made a bad looking watch, but their older watches were actually really well built. It was a smaller company that could afford a little more quality for each timepiece. This particular example has a great dive bezel, the rare day-date option, a relatively clear crystal, and a timeless stainless steel bracelet. Plus the yellow dial makes it stand out, but its an overall subtle watch. Get to bidding!
