I too am not overly irepmssed with the quality of the 4G's camera yet I am still going to buy it. It has other features that, all combined, create an extremely interesting piece of kit. If people are looking for a device with a good quality camera, get a dedicated compact/ SLR, as the camera on this has mainly been added to facilitate your social life, nothing else. This will be my first apple product that I buy and I can't wait.
