Gadget: Office Under $100 - Lexon Safe Wind Up Radio

The Lexon LA81 Safe Radio is a unique environment-friendly and extremely great looking AM-FM radio. Covered in biodegradable plastic (made from corn starch) and real bamboo, it can be powered by crank and internal dynamo or by an external AC/DC adaptor (not included.) Another perk, it can be used as a portable speaker for MP3 player (line in). Seriously, this is a steal at $64...buy it HERE.

Usually, Quicksilver/Roxy makes me think back to 6th grade when all the cool kids were sporting it... but this collection? I just want to snuggle up in those sweaters with a mug of coffee in front of a fire... at least once it's not in the 90's anymore!

That's a pretty cool looking radio. Personally I like the Eton Fr160 - http://greenergreener.com/eton-fr160-the-best-emergency-radio-with-flashlight-review

It has a wind-up hand-crank like the one in your post but it also has a solar panel so you can leave it in a window and it'll be fully charged whenever you need it. It's not as retro-cool looking but it works well and is a bit cheaper too :)
