Advice and Tips: Cigars - Liga Privada T52

The Liga Privada cigar line is an extremely exclusive line of cigars, and if you come across one of these in your search, definitely pick a couple up, because despite the price (about $12 per), this is the best cigar I've ever smoked. Previously, my favorite cigar was the AF Chateau Maduro (and because the the price distinction, it may still be), but the Liga Privada T52 does everything the AF does, just better. Better draw, more clear and less harsh taste, smoother burn, its just simply better. So bring in the new year with one of these bad boys, and you'll be pleased.

Advice and Tips: Grooming - Use an Exfoliator

Bottom line:

An exfoliants fights the aging process. How? It's a product that sloughs off dead skin cells and helps unclog pores. Removing all the gunk from your skin will reveal a new layer of cells, meaning your epidermis will be visibly brighter and younger looking.

How to use it:

The skin cell turnover cycle takes approximately 28 days, so don't exfoliate more than about twice a month. When selecting an exofoliant, search for a product with fine grains as it will be gentle and won't scratch your skin. For more mature skin, exfoliants containing alpha- or beta-hydroxy acids are a smart choice.

Advice and Tips: Cigars - CAO La Traviata Divino

For our second installment of "Cigars to Smoke," we travel (in spirit, of course) to La Traviata's operation in Ecuador. La Traviata was launched in Cuba over 100 years ago,  but the Divino is derived from Ecuadorian leaves. A relatively new cigar to the market, as it was introduced in 2009, the Divino is slow burning with a dark, rich taste. Thoughts of black pepper and roasted nuts are definitely conjured up. So enjoy this one with just about any drink, and you'll be pleased. Give yourself a good amount of time, however; it takes a while to get through. Should be $5-6 at your local shop.

Advice and Tips: Cigars to Smoke - Arturo Fuente Double Chateau

Thanks to our good friends at Gear Patrol, we've been motivated to bring you a list of good cigars for the aficionado and the casual puffer alike. Here at GentDaily, we are very much in the 'casual puffer' camp, so once per week, I (Beckett) will go to a local Chicago smoke shop, talk to the pros, and come out with a new cigar to share with you guys. So here's the first installment - The Arturo Fuente Double Chateau

Arturo Fuente was actually founded in Ybor City, Florida almost a century ago, but moved its business to Nicaragua in the 1970s. The Double Chateau is a popular cigar from AF, and the Double Chateau Maduro is a personal favorite of mine, with deep and rich flavors and a good draw. They're relatively inexpensive; should be $6-8 at your local shop. Set this one up with a nice, dark brew this fall on a colder night, and you'll love it.
